Teacher Responsibilities
My role as a teacher is to help my
students grow to their fullest potential socially and intellectually to reach
their highest level of self- accomplishment.
It is my duty to create a safe place for students to learn and feel
encouraged. Each child will be motivated to absorb the knowledge that they are
given and to continue down this path of learning. In order to accomplish these
things I will strengthen academic expectations while still making learning
interesting and exciting and employ different learning styles to accommodate for each
students abilities.

Ever since visiting my mom in her classroom I have been drawn to the idea of teaching. Throughout my personal experiences of school I have merely been more and more determined to become a teacher. As a teacher It is my responsibility to make sure that my students are getting the tools that they need to succeed. I want to be able to have a student go home and tell their parents that their favorite class that day was my class. Music has changed my life and kept me going strong through hard times due to its emotional reliability. I want to help students be able to relate their lives to music so that in rough times they have somewhere to turn when they feel like they have no one they can turn to, or don’t want to turn to.
I believe that in order to be a great teacher it is essential to be professional. Being professional to me, means that you are passionate about what you do and are very responsible in the way of which you do it. In the future I want to be viewed by my colleagues, students, and parents through the way that I teach, how I handle issues in/outside the classroom, and how I present myself each day. |
